The mks v1.3 is for mks gen boards. |
|
"base" boards have integrated stepper drivers. "Gen" boards are designed for pololu style stepper modules. Other than that they are pretty similar. |

Recent MKS BASE boards have digital micro-stepping control. Some have Allegro A4982 drivers, while others have Heroic HR4982. It's not entirely clear whether there's a variant of MKS_BASE v1.4 with digital micro-stepping, but MKS BASE v1.5 certainly does.
