change

allow >=3.11,<3.15 in both the package and companion plugin metadata, add the 3.14 classifier, and include 3.14 in wheel and managed-Hermes CI tests. keep 3.15 excluded until tested.

verification

on Linux x86_64, Python 3.14.7 and your pinned Hermes runtime:

  • the published ABI-stable wheel passes smoke testing.
  • 422 tests and all 26 managed integration checks pass; i reran both before submission.
  • a metadata-only repack with Maturin-generated metadata installs without a Python override and passes fresh plugin admission and dependency checks.
  • actionlint and diff checks pass.

limit: the Rust extension was not rebuilt locally. the repack preserves the published native payload; added CI jobs build the wheel from source. no live Pubky testnet or other OS was tested.

a new PyPI release and companion pin update are required for ordinary pip users. release versions remain unchanged here; published 0.2.3 still excludes 3.14.

upstream compatibility fixes

allow python 3.14 in the package and companion plugin metadata. keep
python 3.15 excluded until it is tested. cover 3.14 in the wheel and
managed hermes integration jobs, and update the documented range.

the published cp311-abi3 wheel passes the smoke test and 422 python
tests on cpython 3.14.7 with the pinned hermes 0.21.3 runtime. the real
managed turn, restore, resume, and schema upgrade pass all 26 checks.

maturin generates the expanded metadata. a local metadata-only repack
installs without a python override and passes fresh plugin admission.
the rust extension was not rebuilt locally. ci builds the candidate
wheel from source on each supported python version.
