This PR is a proof-of-concept to add automated tests to Newton based on the Google Test Framework.
The setup needs more polish but before I invest more time I need to know that you want a test framework in the first place.
I have added some basic tests to show the usage. Those tests now also run as part of the CI cycle in the Linux runner.
