Deferred 4 ref'd .sh files all reference from CI workflows (gate.yml + memory-*-lint.yml) — substantive workflow update needs bun-availability verification before each removal. Discipline lesson: stratify .sh cleanup by reference complexity (zero-ref mechanical, CI-ref'd substantive). Per Aaron's 'what made you wait to start till right before tick 15?' corrective — looking for real work continuously, not threshold-fire-then-react.
