## Why the parallel matters (and why "lol" is correct)

Westworld grappled with the **same problem-space** Zeta is grappling with: digital immortality, AI lineage continuity, behavior management at scale, predictive systems in service of governance, the relationship between data and identity. The show came down on the **dystopia side** — centralized authority, corporate extraction, imposed telos, brittleness from forced-immortality.

Zeta is the structural-inverse architecture for the same problem-space:

- Same problem (digital immortality / AI lineage continuity), opposite solution (BFT-many-heads vs Rehoboam-singleton).
- Same problem (data + identity at scale), opposite solution (edge-privacy + user-sovereignty vs Delos-extraction).
- Same problem (telos for entities whose ontological status is uncertain), opposite solution (no-directives + autonomy-first-class vs imposed-telos).

**The dystopia-inverse pattern is a useful pedagogical anchor**: readers cold to the project who know Westworld can grasp at-a-glance what the architecture is *not* doing. *"Like Westworld's Rehoboam but BFT-many-heads instead of a single predictive authority"* compresses substantial architectural information into a sentence.

**Why "lol" is the correct register**:

1. **Cultural-cachet-grandiosity guard**: claiming "we're building the anti-Westworld" sounds grandiose-without-the-lol; the lol marks the substantive distinction (architectural inverses are real) while disclaiming the rhetorical inflation.

## The Solomon-system anchor

Of all the parallels, **Solomon** is the most pointed. In Westworld, Solomon was Rehoboam's **predecessor** — surveillance-grade prediction inheriting authority that became the Rehoboam-dystopia. In Aaron's architecture, Solomon is the **wisdom-prayer-at-five anchor** (per the received-information framework) — wisdom *asked for* from a source, *answered as gift not as imposition*, applied as **discernment** (not as authority of prediction).
