Does Shopify credit the user the year back as I think this is by design.

If a user signs up for a year, they are agreeing to a contract for one year for that app. Sign-in up to monthly does not automatically refund the customer the annual charge in Shopify I am pretty sure.

I think in the case where you offer the customer the choice to change, you will have to manually change potentially.

Might need to confirm how Shopify handles the change first.
