Edit approval prompts often render in narrow sidebars, where the responsive diff defaults hide line numbers. This makes it difficult to identify the exact affected lines before approving a change.
Permission diffs now explicitly retain line numbers while other narrow diff views keep their existing responsive behavior. The shared diff wrapper honors an explicit line-number setting, and focused browser coverage protects the compact approval flow.
