Hello,

I'd like to share my idea for feature release. It's not a big deal, but it would be good to have this change. Currently, we can see what value is being set for TTL. It would be good to have this value printed in each reply. What do you think?

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. Sounds like a good idea, so do you think this shown by default when sending a ping?

Exactly, I do. :)

To be more precisely, I'd like to see TTL during reply which is different from set TTL.

This is being tracked for the next release.

The TTL of the reply packet is now displayed by default. You can find this in the latest release (download it here if you want to try it out).

Generally I found that the TTL varies a lot from the default value so I just choose to display it by default as this is what the original windows ping does as well.
