build error

I'm new to Julia, but I did successfully build the version that existed in Aug, 7. But I get the following error when I try to build the current version.

libtool: install: /usr/bin/install -c .libs/fftw-wisdom /Users/Jim/julia/usr/bin/fftw-wisdom
Making install in m4
make[1]: *** [julia-release] Error 2
make: *** [release] Error 2

I'm missing something?

i'm using an Imac 10.7 and have updated gfortran as required.

@staticfload has a decent homebrew formula for Julia.

If you use Homebrew, (which I highly recommend) you can check out my tap, which should compile everything for you and manage the versions, etc.

If you don't want to use Homebrew, I can try and help you with this, but I'm going to need a little more info from you. Can you post the full make log, (preferably in a gist) and run your make command deparallelized (e.g. run make -j1) so that we don't have two processes writing out into the terminal at once?

Yes you can close it. I have used the github source to build it. The problem must have been not having the latest xcode(xcode 4.4). Thanks for the help and suggestions. I have the latest build up and running. I find that the documentation does not seem to keep up with current builds. For instance, I'm using 'conv2' in a signal processing application, but cannot find docs on conv2, conv yes, but no conv2. Does docs on conv2 exist?
