Video preprocessing

V2 of the storage system needs to possibly have some non-trivial preprocessing. Firstly, it may be needed to get video into some acceptable codec. At the very least, an unrecognized codec should be rejected, perhaps also in Pioneer. There may also need to be auto encoding multiple resolutions, and also deal with resolution and aspect ratio issues.

Here are some familiar codecs to keep in mind.

• Linux and Mac: aac, ac3, aac3, h264, mp1, mp2, mp3, mpeg4, mpegvideo, msmpeg4v1, msmpeg4v2, msmpeg4v3, hevc, flv, dca, flac

• Windows: aac, ac3, eac3, h264, mp1, mp2, mp3, mpeg4, mpegvideo, hevc, flv, dca, flac

There may also be similar concerns for other media objects.
