Client Support

Client testing is expected to yield bug reports and change requests. The steps followed to test client reported bugs are:

  • Investigate if the bug is reproducible on the current UAT Environment and on the latest master code using the steps provided by the client

  • If the bug was reproduced on the UAT Environment and on the latest master code, then the QA would create a Leafnode JIRA ticket for it if there is not one already.

  • If the bug was reproduced on the UAT Environment but not on the latest master code, then we need to inform the client that the bug is already fixed in the latest code.

  • If the bug could not be reproduced on the UAT Environment where it was reported, request for additional details from the reporter of the bug.

  • If the bug could not be reproduced on the UAT Environment when we have all the required details, we need to investigate further and verify if the reported bug can only be reproduced on a specific version of the browser, or the reported bug is intermittent. We need to collect error logs when the bug is replicated so it can be investigated by the development team later.
