This application lets you retreive verses from the Quran database stored locally(or remotely if you would like to). User can get a single verse, a collection of verses, first few verses of a chapter, any random verse and an entire chapter if they want to. Added a simple animation while printing the verses to the stdout using the time module.
MySQL database installed. You can download it here.
mysql.connector module installed.
On Debian systems, run the following command:
sudo pip install mysql-connector-python
On Windows 11, run the following command:
pip install mysql-connector-python
You can download python if you have'nt already, here
Start the MySQL database, won't work if the DB is not active
Run the python script
