I'm a software developer, writer, and musician living in Idaho, working anywhere I have wifi.

The pandemic didn't spark my interest in programming. I quit working in construction two months before the first lockdown. But going to code school in quarantine gave me near-endless time to study and helped me seamlessly find work post-graduation.

I began professionally programming in the summer of 2020, and in January 2021, I started working for Foundry Interactive. I have been developing websites and web apps ever since.

In March of 2023, I started working for Hinge Health as a full-stack software engineer.

As an experienced front-end developer proficient in HTML, CSS, React, Gatsby, and Next.js, I have successfully led the deprecation of several legacy application components. I serve as primary liason between design/project management and engineering. Notably, I implemented a design token system that streamlined refactoring and rebranding processes, delivering over $100,000 in savings for the company.

I have a strong background in creating reusable and accessible React components, as well as developing API endpoints using Ruby on Rails. My expertise extends to writing comprehensive end-to-end and unit tests utilizing Cypress, Jest, and Rspec frameworks, ensuring high-quality and robust application performance.
