Overview of the Feature Request
We need to extend the info returned by this endpoint for the SPA.
https://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/api/native-api.html#view-a-dataverse-collection
We need two extra properties:

  • usesMetadataFieldsFromParent: boolean
  • usesBrowseSearchFacetsFromParent: boolean

This is necessary for the editing form of a collection.

What kind of user is the feature intended for?
(Example users roles: API User, Curator, Depositor, Guest, Superuser, Sysadmin)

What inspired the request?
Q4 Roadmap

What existing behavior do you want changed?
None

Any brand new behavior do you want to add to Dataverse?
Add two extra properties
