This is a wrapper over the .NET HttpWebRequest, etc. and particular HTTP methods in order to make your life easier when developing against the Huddle API in .NET.
We also provide a client called DynamicRest for projects built on .NET 4.0. This uses the dynamic keyword, and reduces the need to parse the response. See that project for more: github.com/Huddle/dynamicrest
There are no build scripts at the moment, so it’s a case of firing up Visual Studio to build.
There are several usage examples in the Huddle.RestClient.Examples project in the form of NUnit tests.
In order to run these tests, you will need a Huddle account, and create a workspace within it, and a folder within that workspace. You can obtain the Ids needed for the URIs used in the tests from the web page URIs
It’s worth pointing out that although these examples use URI templating to build the URI, the Huddle files API should not be used in this way. Instead you should follow links from the entry point URI. See the documentation on Huddle’s API for more: code.google.com/p/huddle-apis/
You will need to include a reference to log4net in your project, we supply this in the Libs directory, otherwise you will get a runtime exception for a missing dependency when observers are registered. You will also need to include the dependency on the JayRock.Json.dll if you intend to use the JsonApiCall
