[Feature] Option to hide title, search and function icons #386
Comments
Here is also similar discussion about this: #380 @visusys It would look like this I am writing down my thoughts on the subjects. Since the title also serves as a drag drop, drag drop should still work via the header when option 'Show title' disabled. (It may not be possible to do this via touch, since the head then becomes too small. Here we have to see how it works well.) If it works good enough then we can make 'Show title' as default disabled and can be enabled via options tab 'Customize' as checkbox. Regarding the icons: I use them very often. I'm considering whether we could hide them in a context menu, but I've noticed a few difficulties. Then you won't find them. At the beginning it is unclear that you will find further functions there. Here I think it would probably be better 'Show function shortcut icons' as default enabled and can be disabled via options tab 'Customize' as checkbox. Do you also imagine it that way or do you have any other thoughts on the subject? |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I like my menu as clean as possible. I don't use these icons nor do I want to see the "System Tray Menu" bold header in the menu. I also would like the option to remove the search.
Describe the solution you'd like
A way to disable the above options.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I've tried other tray launchers and this is the best as far as I can tell.
