I use Guake on the KDE desktop of the Manjaro distribution and zsh in the terminal. I encountered several problems.

  1. After each boot, guake does not stay in the last working directory, but opens a new session and the working directory returns to HOME.
  2. After booting or restarting, the history command will not have any output, and the previous records are gone.
  3. The "New tabs appear after the current tab" option in the preferences cannot be saved. It is still unchecked after each restart, but it works normally.

The first and second items are normal on my other work machine, but that work machine uses oh-myzsh, and this one is starship.

Have you checked the "Restore previous session" option in preferences? Unable to reproduce the first two issues, something might be happening in the starship config. I'm able to reproduce number 3, will fix.

Thanks 🙏, I did turn on the "Restore previous session" option, but this problem occurs very rarely, I will record it in detail next time it occurs
