Broken motorcycle controls on high fps #95
Comments
Can I have an answer as to why the comment was removed? ZolikaPatch does solve the issue. Just quietly removing comments doesn't give a whole lot of context of a reason. (I suspect it may be because of the fact it requires a downgrade, but I'd still like context) |
Closed source stuff that throws a lot of positives on virustotal is not supported here. Simple as, so dont spam it here |
Fixed as of FusionFix 2.0 |
@Tomasak, sorry to bother you, but I gotta say, the issue is still not fully fixed... At least at very high framerates such as 120. Fast bikes such as the Bati still have a tendency to slip when turning slightly at high speeds. Wouldn't it be better if the timestep for these things were to depend on FusionFix's FPS Limiter? Like, setting the limiter to 60fps means the physics will break above 60 and setting the limiter at 120, means physics break above that and so on? Don't really know how this works, so whatever... Might put in some footage later... |
There is a well-known problem with motorcycle controls on high fps, old thread related to that issue
Is there any way to fix it without limiting fps? For me this is the only reason of GTA4 unplayability on 144fps.
