Missing plugin crashes jbrowse? #1443
Comments
This is definitely more JBrowse. Not sure how Apollo could handle it differently as it doesn't know what it doesn't have. |
Any chance you can transfer it to jbrowse then? |
@erasche . . . hopefully it transferring |
I think it's true that it crashes the app. If you happen to have a chance to find a fix let me know. It's possible it's pretty far in the guts of the machine though |

This might be more of a jbrowse issue so please move it there if that makes more sense.
When loading a track with an unknown track type, jbrowse crashes and I have to reload. Yes, my fault for sending data to an apollo which didn't have my plugin compiled in, but, could be nice to show an in-track error like is more normal?
