Clone the repository:

Set up the frontend:
cd frontend npm install

Set up the backend:
cd backend python -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # On Windows use `venv\Scripts\activate` pip install -r requirements.txt

Set up environment variables: Create a
.env
file in the backend directory with the following:FLASK_APP=run.py FLASK_ENV=development DATABASE_URL=your_mysql_database_url OPENAI_API_KEY=your_openai_api_key ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=your_anthropic_api_key

Initialize the database:
flask db upgrade
To run the application using Docker:

Make sure you have Docker and Docker Compose installed on your system.

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/ai-ethics-dilemma-game.git cd ai-ethics-dilemma-game

Build and run the Docker containers:
docker-compose up --build

Access the application at
http://localhost:3000
To stop the application, use Ctrl+C
in the terminal where docker-compose is running.
To run in detached mode:
docker-compose up -d
To stop and remove containers, networks, and volumes:
docker-compose down

Start the backend server:
cd backend flask run

Start the frontend development server:
cd frontend npm start

Access the application at
http://localhost:3000
Run backend tests:
cd backend
pytest
Run frontend tests:
cd frontend
npm test
