Hello @JerryJin314,
Currently, we have no contributor working on the fluctuation strength metric. If you want to contribute, you will be more than welcome.

Can you please document the difference you have noticed between Mosqito and Matlab implementation :

  • which implementation is used in Matlab (in Mosqito it is the roughness form Daniel and Weber article)?
  • comparative plots with Matlab and Mosqito results to check the differences

Mosqito is an open-source software that relies on contributions from volunteers that implement metrics (sometimes on their free-time). It is then appreciated if you can share some more informations about the issues you face in order to make everyones works easyer.

I noticed this new feature in Matlab, though the implementation is unclear. Does anyone know what this refers to?

The Matlab function is based on Fastl & Zwicker, although there isn't enough information available in the source references to check the specifics. Validation is unclear.
