  • Related Issue: Run testcafe with https protocol #1985

  • Purpose:
When the load balance on AWS is used to handle SSL, not testcafe server handles SSL, I would like to customize the protocol of testcafe runner as https, instead of http. Another PR is created on testcafe-hammerhead to pass protocol data to customize the proxy protocol.

Hi @rudanzona.

Could you please clarify the following phrase:

When the load balance on AWS is used to handle SSL, not testcafe server handles SSL

So, you have a web site hosted on AWS. This site uses the https protocol and opens from the outside using a load balancer. TestCafe cannot run tests for site that use the https protocol.
Do I understand you correctly?
Could you, please, provide a simple test with for a page with a public URL on which I could reproduce your problem?
