Note: If you are updating from the Muse Dash 0.8 or older, you will need to update MelonLoader to v0.6.1 and remove all old mods from the directory before adding this version.

Client Changes

  • Delay Deathlinks received during the menu screen by 3 seconds.
  • Deathlinks will no longer remove traps.
  • Fixed up some console spam during traps.

Generation Changes

Installation

  1. Download MelonLoader.Installer.exe and run it.
  2. Choose the automated tab, click the select button and browse to MuseDash.exe. Then click install.
    • You can find the folder in steam by finding the game in your library, right clicking it and choosing Manage→Browse Local Files.
    • If you click the bar at the top telling you your current folder, this will give you a path you can copy. If you paste that into the window popped up by MelonLoader, it will automatically go to the same folder.
  3. Run the game once, and wait until you get to the Muse Dash screen before exiting.
  4. Download MuseDashArchipelago.zip and extract it into the /mods/ folder in the Muse Dash directory.
    • All files must be under the /Mods/ folder and not a sub folder within /Mods/

Generation Installation

  1. Download musedash.apworld.
  2. Move the apworld file into Archipelago's install directory, and into the folder /lib/worlds/

Client Changes

  • Items given by the server, such as from cheating or starting_inventory, will no longer be de-duplicated.
    • This means giving yourself 10 traps, will give you 10 traps instead of only 1.
  • If a song is completed, hints should no longer show up on that song.

Generation Changes

  • Data version has been set to 1.
  • Songs in starting_inventory will now be logically considered starting songs.
  • Added include_songs and exclude_songs to allow or disallow certain songs from showing up.
    • Note: The full name must be used for each song. e.g. Bad Apple!! feat. Nomico for Bad Apple. The full name is shown in the bottom right of song select while in a archipelago name.
    • Songs in include_songs will not show as a starter song. Use starting_inventory for that.

  • Client Mod is now built on .net 6 instead of .net framework 4.7.2
  • Client now supports traps. There are 7 visual traps in this version.

Generation Changes

  • Traps have been added to generation
  • trap_count_percentage has been added.
    • trap_count_percentage can range between 0% and 35% (Default 15%).
  • additional_song_count default has been lowered to 40. (Was 50)
  • music_sheet_count_percentage can now range between 5% and 35%.
  • music_sheet_count_percentage now defaults to 20%
  • If additional_item_percentage is lower than music_sheet_count_percentage and trap_count_percentage combined, it will be increased to support both.

Client Changes

  • The Progression Icon, Useful Icon and Trap Icon have been adjusted to make them stand out more compared to each other.

Generation Changes

  • music_sheet_count has been changed to music_sheet_count_percentage.

    • music_sheet_count_percentage can range between 5% and 25% (Default 15%).
  • music_sheet_win_count has been changed to music_sheet_win_count_percentage.

    • music_sheet_win_count_percentage can range between 50% and 100% (Default 80%).
  • additional_item_percentage had its range change from 0-100 to 50-100. (Default 80%).

  • Ola Dash album has been added.

  • Added support for adding a default difficulty to certain songs. (So that these songs can appear while playing.)

    • The following songs are now set to 4/7/10 difficulties: "MuseDash ka nanika hi", "Rush-Hour", "Find this Month's Featured Playlist", "PeroPero in the Universe", "CHAOS Glitch"
    • 3rd Avenue master song is counted as diff 10.
  • Other internal changes to help make Muse Dash AP ready.

Client Changes

  • Adjusted how music sheets are handled when unlocking items
    • When getting multiple music sheets in a row, and the first sheet isn't the one to unlock the song, it should now work.
    • When reconnecting to a game, it should now unlock the goal properly.

Client Changes

  • Fixed local music note items being counting for 2 notes, during the session they were obtained in.
    • Goal will only count down when the music note is shown to be unlocked.

AP World Changes

  • Increased Max Music Note count to 40. (And the required count to match.)
  • Changed default extra items to 50%. (Up from 33%)
  • Default Extra song count is now 50. (Up from 31)
