It consists of two main apps, tasks and users, enabling users to create, update, delete, and search for tasks. Users can also register, log in, and log out, ensuring a personalized experience.

Installation

Follow these steps to set up the Task Scheduler project on your local machine:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone <https://github.com/Dealer86/Task-scheduler.git>
    
  2. Create a virtual environment

    python -m venv venv
    
  3. Activate the virtual environment

    venv\Scripts\activate
    
  4. Install project dependencies:

    pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  5. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd task_scheduler
    
  6. Apply database migrations:

    python manage.py migrate
    
  7. Start the development server:

    python manage.py runserver
    
  8. Access the application in your web browser at your localhost

Usage

  • Visit the application in your web browser. Register a new account or log in with your existing credentials. Create, update, and delete tasks on the "Home" page. Use the search bar to find tasks by keyword. Access the "About" page for information about the application. Log out when done.
