Closing as obsolete and superseded. PR #563 is the canonical current-head implementation for OpenAI-style multimodal message content, while cumulative PR #565 owns the remaining message-role and HTTP honesty contracts. This older fail-closed multimodal slice must not compete with the supported vision path. Reviews and checks remain head-bound.
