Filter List missing in Nodes 2.0 for COMBO types

Nodes 2.0 switched from the old LiteGraph context menu (which injected a filter box for combo dropdowns) to custom Vue components for COMBO inputs. Filtering and autocomplete are now handled inside these Vue dropdowns, like WidgetSelectDropdown.vue and MultiSelectWidget.vue, which use PrimeVue's built-in filtering features. If you're not seeing a filter list for a specific COMBO input, it's likely due to incomplete migration, a bug, or missing configuration in the Vue component—not because the feature was removed. Some features in Nodes 2.0 are still being restored, so you can temporarily switch back to the classic UI for legacy behavior until development catches up. More details on the new implementation are in the code for WidgetSelectDropdown.vue and MultiSelectWidget.vue.

If the filter list is missing for a specific node, check if its input spec is fully migrated to the new format, or if the dropdown is using the correct Vue widget. This is a known area of active development and will improve in future releases. For now, using the classic UI is the best workaround for missing features in Nodes 2.0.
