[Feature Request] When exporting a workflow with a subgraph and then importing it to the older FE, there is no update reminder, only a 'missing node' prompt.

I think we already have a similar feature. When users import a workflow with a node from a newer ComfyUI version, there will be a reminder telling them to update the FE or ComfyUI.
But when I tested the subgraph today, it didn't work.
So I think we might need to do the same for subgraph nodes to remind users to update

Just like missing a core node. I think we can achieve something like this, right? Add version info to the subgraph? WDYT?

What I mean is that it's just reusing the existing feature.

Will this work though? My thought process is:

• Subgraphs work on the current version of FE and will work on all future versions
• If we make a change on current version of future version that changes how the missing nodes dialog appears for subgraphs, it will never be shown because that missing nodes dialog only shows on old versions and we can't change old versions

That said, we can change the metadata on the node to include comfy-core version ID to trigger the missing core node message.

Yes, if we distinguish between missing core nodes and missing custom nodes by including the comfy-core version ID, I think we also need to handle subgraphs in a similar way. Mainly, there will be many users using the version that does not support subgraph in the iteration transition stage, and the old version users need to know that this is not a custom node.

Ultimately, there is nothing we can do if the user has a version prior to #4227 because we can't make changes retroactively to older installs 😢

FE v1.23.4 is being used in the latest stable ComfyUI

Yes, but you must have ComfyUI-Manager installed when you made the subgraph. Currently, ComfyUI-Manager adds the cnr_id metadata to a workflow.
