"list index out of range"

(i realize this project has probably been abandoned but...)

Hi!

I'm trying to use the beatmapper, but it says (as in the title), "list index out of range".

The whole process in the program is this:

[COMANDO]> convert
[  Task  ] Solicitando archivo MIDI...
[  Task  ] Procesando MIDI (test.mid)...
[  Task  ] Detectando pitchs...
[ Failed ] list index out of range

I've tried watching the tutorial, but I can't tell what I've done differently aside from using a desktop version of FL Studio (FL Studio 20, if that matters). The 2 errors listed in Section 5 don't seem to apply.

I've changed the notes from C6 to C5, changed instruments (regular instruments, MIDI out, etc), separated the 2 instruments into 2 patterns (had its own error so i reverted this), and exported it a number of times (as a pattern and as a song).

I'd appreciate any help, for I am probably just dumb.

I've been using Google translate, but it hasn't been too bad, I don't think.

PS- the actual rhythm game is very well put together. easy to edit, too :)

Sorry for not maintaining this, but I haven't completely forgotten about it haha.

Could you provide me with the .mid file you're using? I could try testing the issue on my machine, as it's clearly an error not foreseen by the executable.

P.S. Have you tried placing a note lane on a separate scale from your piano roll? Using a Drum Sequencer with two instruments (one for each note lane) is also an option.

^_^ i've sent a request on discord.

I tried recreating it without using the piano roll and only using the drum sequencer, but it gives the same error.
For more context, my version of FL doesn't export midis properly if I use any instrument other than "MIDI out" (they're just empty), so I also have to change the midi channel for each instrument in order to have it play 2 sounds rather than just the one.

edit: desktop FL needs left and right tracks to be on separate notes (eg. right is D5 and left is C5)
