Buggy fade effect

When you click around fast between panels the fade effect gets really buggy and choppy. Maybe there need to be a check that the fade animation is completed before triggering any more events.

I'm using Chrome 18

Ahh ok I understand now... I think this is what issue #338 and/or issue #339 is about. I'll have it fixed here in a few mintues.
