Adding content instead of images breaks the slider

The moment I replace the images in slider with HTML content, the slider stops working, I've been able to reproduce the same even in simple.html example. Really not sure what the cause could, am new to this plug-in.

it throws the following error:

I wasn't sure if the slider was being updated after the changes made, but I did look into the error you reported and attempted to fix it in the latest update. I hope it works now! :)
