FX effects don't work if animationTime is set to zero (or a low value)

I'm glad this is reproducible with the demo also and that it's not due to my mutilated code. Try this: take demo2, set the transition duration animationTime to zero (or any low value, e.g. 100ms) and notice how the FX are not happening; new panels simply appear.

BUT, if you let the slider go through all the panels once, then the second time everything works nicely. Hit refresh and you're back to square one.

I'm building a custom slideshow and the FX extensions are a godsend. However, the transitions ARE supposed to be the effects themselves, without the right-to-left swipe "effect" coming from the original anythingSlider.

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Ok, I think I fixed the problem.. it seems that I needed to queue the animation to make it work right. Please test it out and tell me if you find any problems. Also, there were a lot of options added, removed and renamed in version 1.7.

We're getting there, except for the first slide which still suffers from the same problem. When the page is loaded, the first panel is just there; without any "intro" effect.

Hmm, I don't remember there being "intro" effects when the delay time isn't zero... The FX slider binds to the slide_init and slide_complete events, I'd have to rewrite the FX extension a bit to make it perform FX on init.

Ok, a quick workaround would be to just trigger the slide complete event. Do this after Anything Slider and Anything Slider Fx are initialized in the code.

// this makes Anything Slider trigger the slide
// events for the fx extension on initialization

The reason it can't be added to the anythingSlider onInitialized callback is because the FX extension hasn't initialized. In a future update, I'll make the fx extension call the slide like in the example above.

As a workaround, I've put a dummy blank as the first slide and set its own transition time to be close to zero.
