ez-vencord-install

A Vencord installer with stereo (from philhk) and other stuff.

Pre-requisites

• Uninstall any previously installed Discord client mods before proceeding.
• If you have an outdated version of Node.js, the script will not update it. If you encounter issues, uninstall Node.js and run the script again. The script will then automatically install the latest version.

Instructions

1. Clone or download the repository:

• Clone the repo (highly recommended):

  git clone https://github.com/BlueberryWolf/ez-vencord-install

• OR download and extract the repository files.

2. Run the appropriate script:

• If cloned from the repo (git clone):
  Run updateandinstall.bat.
• Otherwise, or if you encounter issues:
  Run install.bat.

3. Complete the installation:

• If the process is successful, it will prompt you to install Vencord.
• Use the arrow keys and Enter to navigate:
  1. Select Install Vencord.
  2. Choose your Discord flavor (typically Stable).

4. Restart Discord:

• If Discord doesn't automatically restart, fully close and reopen it.

5. Enable plugins:

• In Discord User Settings, review the list of plugins.
• Enable the ones you want and restart Discord.

BetterMicrophone/BetterScreenshare

Discord frequently changes its UI, which may cause issues with these plugins. A hotfix is included in case it is broken.

1. In Vencord's plugins, enable BetterMicrophone (or BetterScreenshare) and VencordToolbox.
2. Click the Vencord Toolbox icon in the top right of Discord.
3. Configure the plugin under BetterMicrophone/BetterScreenshare → Open Microphone/Screenshare Settings.
