Summary
This PR rewrites
docs/providers/github_copilot.mdagainst current litellm main. The main fix is that the page used to say the proxy cannot run GitHub's device flow, which has been false since per-user OAuth shippedPer-user GitHub OAuth is now the first, recommended proxy setup. The admin creates a credential with Auth Type Per-user GitHub OAuth and attaches it to a model. Each user then opens LLM Credentials, finds the credential under Your connections, clicks Connect, and completes GitHub's device flow in the dashboard, with no GitHub CLI involved. The page covers encrypted storage, the 60s Redis cache, in-memory Copilot token caching (
expires_at - 60s), disconnect and reconnect behavior, and thegithubcopilot.comAPI host checkShared device login stays as a second option. It is labeled as one GitHub account for every caller and keeps only the steps it still needs: the token file, a writable directory for
api-key.json, and a note that the credential's API Key field does not replace the file. The release-history text is goneOther fixes: a paid plan is no longer stated as required, since model access depends on the plan. The examples now use current catalog models (
claude-sonnet-5.5,gpt-5.3-codex,gpt-5.5,text-embedding-3-small). The endpoint table, env vars, defaults and headers match current code. The page also says Claude Code and Claude Desktop need model names starting withclaude-oranth-Link to Devin session: https://app.devin.ai/sessions/453c40b054f240f1bf0e4512da9a9aae
