Hello,
Can you give me the exact version of your Windows ?
To find out which version of Windows your PC is running,
press*Windows logo key*+*R*, type*winver*, then select*OK*.

Windows 10 1709 (had a reinstall to an older version due to some other issues). |
Can you do a screenshot of the Windows Settings Menu for playback devices ?
And the same for the Settings Menu of SoundSwitch ?

Not entirely sure what Settings menu you're talking about for Playback Devices, but here are screenshots: |
For Windows, perfect.
For SoundSwitch, the tab with the name "Playback" :)

Here's the playback: |
Okay, this is not a bug, but a misconfiguration because of a change of
the default value.
In the settings of SoundSwitch (first screenshot), uncheck the "Keep
SoundSwitch Icon" option.
When it's checked, SoundSwitch keeps its icon instead of taking the one
of the currently used playback device.
Once unchecked, the icon will change directly.

And also how it looks in the systray:

One thing I liked with SoundSwitch was that it showed the icon for the device you changed to (based on the device's icon) - it doesn't seem to do this anymore? It just shows the SoundSwitch-icon in the systray.
