My understanding is that, because these versions are compatible, the newer one should get used automatically without any change to Cargo.toml. Is that wrong? |

We're using a quite old version of
cc, where there was a hardcoded iOS version while targeting Mac Catalyst.That version,
ios13, is not supported by the latest clang anymore. The fix was merged incc: rust-lang/cc-rs#727
