@avagraw explained this change-set includes only the work to merge from dev to make the device_client_integration branch up-to-date. Also there was a prior (now closed) PR from device_client_integration -> dev which showed 12 changed files (as this PR is replaying some prior merged change-sets).
The plan is to do an in-depth review when we have the green light to PR from device_client_integration -> dev.
