Primarily for Open Telemetry support (#245), but also fixes #228.
Depends on the worker changes here: Azure/azure-functions-nodejs-worker#739, which will take a while to roll out on all skus. To simplify timing of the library release, I figure we mark this feature as preview for now and remove the preview label once all skus are finished.
