Most of custom post type tools are not for custom post types

I believe this feature is still under construction but most of the tools implemented in this file are related to post and not post type

e.g. get_custom_post_type, add_custom_post_type...

You are right, the naming conventions are bad.
Any ideas for better naming of these tools?
