Puzzle Solutions
Follow the colored arrows. Push the blocks to complete the two beacons. As of the most recent patch the puzzle is always the same.
Open all all 3 chests on the stage quickly. This reveal a 4th chest with static contents. While that 4th chest is open a 5th chest with good loot will be revealed. It is possible to get this chest in single player by using escape to close the chest UI and quickly turning to face the 5th chest.
Similar to the previous room. Except this time the good loot is in the 4th chest. No extra step required.
There is a 1:3 chance for the chest in the wall to be empty. If it is, put any item in the chest and leave the room. The floor will catch fire and reveal a treasure room.
Hit the two pressure plates on the right side quickly to reveal a chest. This can be done with a potion of swiftness, two players, another mob, and a few other ways. The pressure plates on the left will release blazes from the coffin in the middle of the room. (There are five variations of this room with minor changes. But only two variations have hidden chests.)
Definitely no hidden chest in this redstone-less room.
Use a bottle or a bucket to empty the witch's cauldron. This will open a secret passage to the trapped mason villager. Don't forget to check their trades!
The roof tells you where it is safe to stand. The corner contains the secret.
Just a mundane room. But if you take the detour with the enemy in it, look up!
Exclusive to advanced dungeons, in this room, there is a chance for the "advice dispenser" to instead shoot a fire charge and burn away the bookcase. In the hidden room that is revealed press the buttons multiple times to find splash potions of healing and open the path to this treasure room.
First flick the lever on the wall. Then jump from block to block, to the end rods, to press a button in the top corner of the room near the roof. This will reveal a double chest with a "Cubic Zirconia" in it. Place any non-stackable item in the chest and remove it to complete the puzzle. (This procedure is hinted at by the advice dispensers.)
Flip both levers to make the chest accessible. But don't let cobblestone form on top of the chest or you'll never be able to open it!
What a large end portal!! That's going to take a lot of eyes though...
There are three variations of this room. In the one where the item frames contain End Stone and hoppers, throw end stone on the floor.
Tricking a blaze into setting the floor on fire might be difficult. But it will reward a chest!
Use a blank map. If it looks like there is a room on the other side then try crossing the lava with a Fire Resist Potion or an Eye of Ender.
Look for hidden buttons and levers to progress.
Naturally, there is a secret passage in the back of the fireplace.
Going down isn't so bad.
Bring a music disc! If the room has a chest then it will always be visible.
Shoot the target block while standing on the pressure plate. You can cheese this room with multiplayer or an armor stand.
Throw an Ender Pearl up on top of the pictured wall, in the corner.
On the lava side, fish in the lava. On the ice side, press both buttons (quickly) while dodging the tripwires.
Look for 3 buttons to reveal a treasure room. No amount of fire will help. (And may make the puzzle impossible.)
The magic words are: Frost Walker.
The magic words are: Soul Speed. (Or any other form of pressure plate cheese.)
If it looks like a straight through hallway then there is redstone hiding a chest on one of the sides.
A lucky chest may spawn up here.
If a pressure plate appears here then lure or push mob onto it. Look for a chest on the other side of the room.
Throw a Pearl up there.
If you see redstone particles appearing through the carpet then try running laps around the room.
Keep hitting the pressure plates until a chest appears. (It takes awhile.)
Throw an Ender Pearl through the fence.
If the gap in the fence is closed then go swimming in the lava. With fire immunity of course.
Flip all 4 levers from the safety of the minecart. Frost Walker also works lol.
Up up down down left right left right. This easily guessable password is provided in three places:
- in the in-game guidebook
- explicitly written on a lectern in the "false spawner" room
- subtly hinted at by the walls
In basic dungeons the solution is to throw a pearl through the pictured banner. A bonus chest can be obtained by spinning a certain skull in a full circle. (The skull that you need to spin is near the corner.)
In advanced dungeons a Trident enchanted with Loyalty is required. Throw the trident into an adjacent room then dodge around the corner. The returning trident will clip through the will and hit inaccessible tripwires! This will open a door into the floor that leads to treasure.
If you shoot an arrow into a button then it will keep that button held down. Use the buttons to "freeze" reels 1 and 3 to make the jackpot easier to obtain.
50/50 chance of two very different possibilities. In the first, pressing a button will reveal 4 levers - but only for a split second. You must dash from the button to those levers. If you press the button too many times however then the chest will become permanently unobtainable. (Denoted by a red 'X'.)
In the second version of this room a miniboss mob will spawn. The chest will then become accessible for only 3 seconds about 12 seconds later.
There are 3 variations of this room. If the mural looks like it could form a "tetris" then look for buttons on the roof.
Jump into the lava pool that intersects the Wither Skulls and Wither Roses. (Fire protection is not needed.)
A chest is hidden in the corner. But the portal will send you back to the start. (Which may be useful.) Cross the portal by throwing an Ender Pearl through it.
A chest is hidden in a crazy cube of return portals. You can't throw an Ender Pearl here because there is nothing for the pearl to collide with. (That won't just immediately teleport you out.) Instead row a boat into the massive portal. Trust me.
Trample the bit of farmland next to the poppy. Jumping from the nearby stone slab will work. If you are playing in a modpack that disables crop trampling then forget I said anything. :) This is just a nice 4-way room with a bunch of flowers. Carry on!
