It is possible to interface WLED with home automation systems and other 3rd party software. You can use any API WLED provides (JSON, HTTP, UDP, MQTT), JSON is preferred. This page is intended for sample code and configs others use to control WLED from various 3rd party software:

HomeAssistant and NodeRED flows

Domoticz:

Please see https://github.com/frustreermeneer/domoticz-wled-plugin !

Openhab:

Binding with auto-discovery available: https://www.openhab.org/addons/bindings/wled/

Alternatively, the connection can be made via MQTT broker & Openhab MQTT Binding (2.5x and 3.x)

with configuration files Please find the details in https://community.openhab.org/t/wled-control-without-the-binding/101120

Openhab community discussion: https://community.openhab.org/t/wled-a-binding-for-controlling-led-strips-and-strings-from-an-opensource-esp8266-project/87286

Indigo Domotics:

Home Assistant

Using native integration:

Home Assistant natively supports WLED and devices can be configured using the integrations in the Home Assistant frontend.

Simply click the My Home Assistant button below to set it up:

Open your Home Assistant instance and start setting up a new integration.

More information can be found in the Home Assistant WLED integration documentation.

Using MQTT

Alternatively, MQTT can be used (not recommended). In case you want to configure the device manually:

    command_topic: "wled/all"
    brightness_command_topic: "wled/all"
