Absorb is a custom reimplantation of the Minecraft server, attempting to fix many issues found in the original server from technical limits of the Minecraft engine (such as theadsafe code) to the less technical limits found in java edition of Minecraft (such as the inability to to move chests with pistons)

Absorb has been designed with Sponge plugins in mind, whereby plugins can run without affecting TPS as much as they do on Sponge Vanilla or Sponge Forge.
