Usage diffmove: ./diffmove source: destination:
Usage diffsets: ./diffsets dset.video
Usage difflist: ./difflist source: destination:

DIFFMOVE
diffmove uses rclone to generate a list of files that are on source but not on the destination remote, and
then moves those files from source to the destination remote.
Files present on both source and destination remain on source. Files present only on destination are not touched.
Example: ./diffmove source: destination:
Source: Destination:
file1
file2
file3 file3
file4 file4
file5
After diffmove
Source: Destination:
file1
file2
file3 file3
file4 file4
file5
DIFFSPLIT
./diffsplit source: destination:
diffsplit moves files and folders that are in the destination:
remote but not in the source:
remote into a backup folder destination:backup
DIFFSETS
diffsets uses a set file containing any number of source-destination pairs along with diffmove to move files as described above for each pair.
#source destination
bak:home_movies gdrive:Media/home_movies
bak:travel_video gdrive:Media/travel_video
NOTE: diffsets will now move files to destination:backup
IF you include a third column with a master remote. Be careful Remember that you have moved files out of the source, so you cannot use source as master. Using diffsplit within diffsets requires you to have a third remote (a 'master' that copies to source, which is then moved to destination).
#source destination master
bak:home_movies gdrive:Media/home_movies master:Media/home_movies
bak:travel_video gdrive:Media/travel_video
In the above example diffsplit will run for home_movies but not for travel_video. After running, home_movies will be identical in master and destination.
DIFFLIST
difflist is a standalone script using rclone check
to find differences between source and destination rclone remotes.
difflist generates a flat text file called difflist.txt which contains files that exist on source but not on destination (a one way compare).
Additional scripts:
rc_one
will cycle through folders or files one at a time.
Use -d (default) to cycle folders only. Remove -d to cycle files one at a time. Use --level (lev
variable in the script) to control to what depth rc_one cycles.
Usage rc_one: ./rc_one sync source: destination:
\
rc_oneSA
is the same as rc_one
, but uses service accounts as well. See https://github.com/88lex/sa-guide to better understand service accounts
Usage rc_oneSA: ./rc_oneSA copy source: destination:
