2024-06-13: macOS Sequoia Support

  • Updated OpenCore to 1.0.1 nightly

  • ACPI:

    • Enabled Quirk FadtEnableReset → Fixes Crashes on shutdown/reboot. There were crash notifications after rebooting/shutting down macOS 15 (24A5264n).

  • Kexts

    • Disabled a lot of secondary Kexts for now since they haven't been updated to work with Sequoia yet.

  • NVRAM

    • Enabled -lilubetaall, so all enabled kexts load in macOS 15.

Important

  • Disable SecureBootModel before installing macOS 15!
  • Don't upgrade to macOS 15 via System Update, perform a clean install on a new Volume!
  • Enable AppleIGC.kext during install. Otherwise, the setup-dialog won't initialize!
