🛠 Summary of changes

Updates the make lintfix task so that it fixes ERB, javascript, and CSS files in addition to ruby files.

Should we extend it to all of the tools in lint fix which have autofixers?

  • yarn lint --fix (docs)
  • yarn lint:css --fix (docs)
  • make normalize_yaml

@aduth sure! Well, except for normalize_yaml. That task is pretty erratic from my experience and likes to unexpectedly change dozens of files in weird ways if your dependencies are out of date or there are syntax errors in files. I treat that one with caution by saving any i18n changes in my working tree so that they don't get overwritten. I think being explicit with that one is better while those issues persist.

See 726a59d for javascript and css linting update

Fine to leave it out, but could you track these issues or send me some more information? I'd like to make it reliable enough that we don't have to worry about issues like this.

@aduth I made a branch that reproduces the issue for me: sbachstein/demo-of-normalize-yaml-issue. If you run make normalize_yaml you should see a bunch of files whose contents get deleted.

The one with outdated dependencies isn't as easy to reproduce, it's been a while since I had that issue.

I haven't spent any time investigating why it does so. I expect eventually I will but I don't have more spare time right now
