Why: To have a better understanding of how many attempts that users are making before submitting images, so that we can get a better idea of burden users are experiencing.

as long as we're here can we add the number of bytes in the image?

**Why**: So that we can easily determine number of attempts to assess user burden, especially in matching to client-side analytics (#5463), and so that the numbers can be interpreted irregardless changes to the configured maximum attempts.
