LGTM - are the commands to generate the certificates documented in the handbook anywhere? I'm sure I can recreate the crt but I'm not sure of the top of my head how to generate the encoded version. I gave a quick glance in the handbook and didn't see anything.

@solipet I just used openssl to generate a 1-year cert, although this will last expire after the prod 2020 cert as per the developer guide. I think when we generate a new cert for the prod 2021 endpoint we should just make sure to include a separate one in this repo for development at the same time, if that works.
