There is some chance that this change is related to this error that Kevin is seeing on the staging SAML sample app (conversation here: https://gsa-tts.slack.com/archives/C0NGESUN5/p1729781695092109) -- I am prepping a revert so that if I don't figure it out in a timely fashion, we can continue with the deploy.
