We forked this repo a while back because it no longer appears to be maintained. We discovered this new issue as well over the weekend and patched it here: https://github.com/digitalbazaar/gh-action-buildnum/pull/1/files

This is related to the recent rollout of Powershell 7.4 actions/runner-images#9115 in github action runners.
