No recovery when OTA crashes

Hi guys,
During my OTA for NCP I have noticed that in case the OTA process gets stopped in between or crashes then the zwave chipset can't be recovered unless we re flash the chipset.

But while using the Silabs zipgateway process the device will get recovered. Is there anything missing on my end. Because if OTA fails then recovery is very important and much needed for my work.
