From the README I could gather that you currently do not plan on supporting apple devices.
However I do think that supporting these platforms is a requirement for being a viable alternative to Plex / Jellyfin / Emby as the Apple TV is one of the most used home theatre-devices out there.
If this is a funding issue and not a political one, I would absolutely sponsor my developer membership and help with development.
Best Regards

Thanks for your interest in Kyoo! This is indeed a funding issue (and a time issue as well). Having Apple devices support means I need to buy both a mac and the end device (iPhone, tvOS...) + the $100 bucks per app in store fee. Right now, this is not a cost I can afford.
There is also the time issue, right now I am mostly alone working on Kyoo: I want to focus on features before clients. Since the front is written in react-native, the same code could be reused and would just need to be adapted for a more native feel (and fix the bugs that would appear in the new platforms) but this is still a time sink to check if new features work on all platform.
Help in development could definitely change that, you can even port the code for Apple devices and become the maintainer for the device if you feel confident. If you wish to do so, feel free to ping me here on github or on the discord. I'll be happy to help anytime.
